One of the things we especially like to do
here at SurvivorHunks.com is compare the
castaways of various versions of Survivor,
and find similarities between them.
However for some reason that we can't put
our finger on, as we perused our list Ryan
Opray of Survivor 7 Pearl Islands
didn't remind us of anyone who had gone
before. Not that he seemed terribly
original or unique, or that his
contributions were especially memorable.
He simply defied pigeonholing, which is
surely a credit to the guy. But
sometimes that's the way it is with second
fiddles ~ they come, they see, they don't
conquer and fade away. So it was with
Ryan O.
Things might have been very different in Panama had he
been kissed with the good fortune of
membership in the stronger of the two
tribes. But as with other versions of
Survivor, after the merge members of
the weaker tribe tend to drop like flies. As the second fiddle to Andrew
Savage, Ryno was
powerless to prevent his ouster on Day 24.
Even so, he became the first member of the
jury, and there's certainly no shame in
that. For as we know, half of all
castaways never make it that far, so it's
no small accomplishment. Alas Ryno,
saluté.
