There haven't been many contestants as
vibrant, as energetic, and indeed as colorful as Survivor 5 Thailand's
Robb Zbacbik. We knew going in that
watching his antics every week would be a trip, but
what was it that tipped us off? Oh I
don't know, could it have been. . . the piercings? The tattoos? The fact
that his luxury item was a flippin'
*skateboard* for crying out loud? Yes,
yes, and yes. If you want a sure bet
in Vegas, go plunk down the mortgage to your
house that Survivor 100 Mars will
come and go before anyone hauls another
skateboard out into the wild!
Robb flat-out
*delivered* on his entertainment potential,
too, stealing scene after scene from those
around him, a point certainly not lost on
his fellow castaways and explains why he got
the boot even before reaching the jury.
It's generally safe to assume that amongst
the castaways themselves, scene-stealers and
colorful-characters aren't particularly
appreciated. But for the rest of us
watching at home, the Robb Zbacniks, the
Jerri Mantheys, and the Rudy Boesches are
the very heart & soul of Survivor. |
