All things considered, here at
SurvivorHunks.com we've officially decreed
Coby Archa of Survivor 10 Palau
our second-favorite gay castaway after the
inimitable Richard Hatch. But unlike
the latter, Coby didn't win, nor come very
close. Instead he became the first
member of the jury, which he perceived as a
compliment to his gamesmanship. We're
not so sure; numerous players were more of a
threat than he, yet he was axed first &
foremost.
Watching at home it was easy to appreciate Coby's
sarcastic humor. But on the island, he
was the camp gossip, a whiner, was quite moody
day-by-day, and overly-sensitive much of the
time. In other words, hardly the sort
of easy-going, live-&-let-live type that
most of us would want to surround ourselves
with in close quarters. Whether that's
a function unique to Coby's personality, or
a general characteristic of those who share
his proclivity we do not know, yet either
way it suggests there's a modicum of wisdom
in the military's don't-ask don't-tell
policy!
